The city of Agra flourished under the patronage of the emperors Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan and attracted artisans from Persia and central Asia. Agra is still famous for handicrafts products such as inlay work on marble, carpets, jewellery, zari and embroidery work. A few kilometers northwest of Agra lies Sikandra, Akbar's mausoleum. Day 04 : Agra - Madhogarh

After a traditional breakfast at the Madhogarh Fort hotel, you drive to the Pink City of Rajasthan - Jaipur with the Rajasthan Holiday guide. On arrival in Jaipur, check in at a hotel for an overnight stay. The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is built of pink stucco and planned in a grid system with wide avenues. The city has a timeless appeal in its colorful bazaars, the ambling camels and cheerful people in multi hued costumes. Other destinations near Jaipur are, the mausoleum of the Sufi saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer, Pushkar the abode of Lord Brahma and venue for the annual Pushkar Camel fair and a contrast from tradition and religion, and the Ranthambore National Park, a tiger reserve. Course the bazaar trails in Jaipur before retiring for dinner and sleep at the hotel.
Day 06 : Jaipur
Post breakfast enjoy an elegantly painted elephant ride to the Amber Fort; see the City Palace Complex, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. The focal point of the city of Jaipur is the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, a five storey high Baroque- like structure built to enable the veiled ladies of the harem to observe the street scenes below and remain unnoticed. The City Palace, a wonderful combination of Mughal and Rajput forms of architecture, is now partly a museum housing miniature paintings, manuscripts, Mughal carpets, musical instruments, royal costumes and weapons, giving invaluable insight into Jaipur's royal past. Have your lunch at a traditional Jaipur Haveli, the Mundia House some of the instruments at the astronomical observatory are still used today to forecast the weather and the turns of nature. Jewellery is an integral part of Rajasthani culture. Be it ornaments fit for a queen or a peasant or specially designed anklets for camels and elephants, the ornament industry in Jaipur caters for all. The two traditional techniques of ornamentation this region is famous for is Meenakaari (enamel work) and Kundankaari (inlay work with gems). Day 07 : Jaipur - Chhatra Sagar
Post breakfast drive to Chhatra Sagar with our GeTS holiday representative and check in at a hotel for an overnight stay so that you wake up fresh in the morning for your next expedition.
Drive to Udaipur with our GeTS holiday representative and stop for lunch at the palatial Deogarh Mahal en route. On arrival at Udaipur you check in the hotel Udai Kothi for an overnight stay. You are free to relax and spend the day as you like.
Day 09 : Udaipur
Drive to Udaipur, the 'City of Lakes, with our GeTS holiday Mirabai and Maharana Pratap' entices you with its enchanting tourist attractions. Udaipur is the historic capital of the former kingdom of Mewar. The city is dominated by the City Palace overlooking the Lake Pichola, with the colorful bazaars of the old city stretching behind. To the northwest is Shilpgram, a living ethnographic museum depicting diversities in craft, art and architecture, with artisans, folk performers and replicas of traditional houses. To the north is the massive 15th century Kumbhalgarh Fort built along the border of Marwar (Jodhpur) and Mewar (Udaipur). Come back to the Udai Kothi hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10 : Udaipur - Rohet
After a lovely breakfast in the morning watch out the places around like Swayabunath, Bhadgoon, Have an early morning breakfast and drive to Rohet with our GeTS holiday representative. Day 12 : Jaisalmer

Day 13 : Jaisalmer - Khuri - Jaisalmer
Drive to Sam Sand Dunes after an early morning breakfast, 45 kms on the way visit the ancient Mool Sagar Complex, Amar Sagar and Temple of Lodurwa. The complex also houses a summer palace where some of the gorgeous paintings and pictures are on display. When you reach Sam Sand Dunes, transfer on Camels and enjoy the amazing camel safari and discover the various sights and sounds, the ruins and the temples in and around Jaisalmer in an genuine and laid-back fashion with amusement by folk performers. After safari come back to Jaisalmer at the Fort Rajwada hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today you are free to spend the day at leisure. Day 15 : Jaisalmer - Khimsar
Have a scrumptious breakfast and embark on a tour to Khimsar with our GeTS representative. En route tour the ancient temples located in the tiny desert hamlet of Osian. On arrival at Khimsar the Rajasthan Holiday representative arranges for you to check in at the Khimsar Fort. The desert village of Khimsar offers an interesting insight into the rural life of the desert people. The old city of Khimsar harbors several mosques, one of which was commissioned by Emperor Akbar. Day 16 : Khimsar - Samode
